 ADVANCED TRAININGA 1-Year Certification Training in the Art of Convening with Craig Neal, originator of The Art of Convening Sign up for a free preview call with Craig to learn more about the AoC Advanced. WHAT IS THE AoC ADVANCED? This 1-year Training will certify you to deliver the Art of Convening TeleTraining following a brief internship. The Training is built around two 3-1/2-day retreats and ten 2-hour TeleTrainings, co-convened with participants and Craig. We use the Principles of Convening and Essential Conversation as the foundation to look more deeply into the personal and collective nature of what it means to convene, your commitment to the craft and art, and to what and whom you are in service in life and work. Now you will be called upon to engage both in the course and the world in which you work as that realized convener. WHO IS THE AoC ADVANCED TRAINING FOR? The Advanced is open to ten people who have completed the AoC Core 6-month TeleTraining. Come prepared to engage, learn and contribute at a dynamic level. It is our intention that you will be prepared and certified to deliver the AoC Core 6-month TeleTraining following an internship. OUTCOMES To fully embody your calling and knowing as a Convener. What it means in your heart for you to call and gather people in service to them and to the whole. Commitment to learning & engagement of practice. To fully commit yourself to the practice, learning and engagement of convening in service to creating a new story of transformation in our lives, organizations and communities. To claim your "authority" as a Convener sharing your teaching with others. To step into your strength and knowingness as a Convener sharing your gifts as a teacher and guide with others so they may learn from your experiences, inspiration and discovery. FORMAT The retreats and TeleTraining sessions build upon one another combining guided teaching based on session themes and collaborative learning. The format is based on Heartland’s work with three Art of Convening Advanced Series, The Art of Convening Core 6-month TeleTraining (240 Graduates), Thought Leader Gatherings (146 sessions, 1400 participants) and various convening designs utilizing ancient forms as well as modern systems for group effectiveness. All sessions are a blend of group interaction in and between sessions with experiential exercises and individual reading, journaling and reflection.
