Juana Bordas is the principal of Mestiza Leadership International in Denver. Mestiza provides training and organizational services that demonstrate the benefits of collaboration, diversity, and effective leadership. Founded in 1995, Mestiza has established a track record for delivering quality programs in creative and interactive environments. Juana has over twenty-years experience manging nonprofit corporations and building parterships with the corporate sector to support innovative programs. She works with corporations, nonprofits, government and educational institutions integrating the best practices and model from these diverse sectors.
Juana is also the founding President and CEO of the National Hispana Leadership Institute and worked as a Senior Program Associate with the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs. She is a contributing author to Reflections on Leadership: How Robert K. Greenleaf’s Theory of Servant-Leadership Influenced Today’s Top Management Thinkers. Juana Bordas has been honored as a Wise Woman by the National Center for Women and Policy Studies and has been initiated into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame.
